Guacamole is such a great thing to whip out whenever the mood strikes. It’s something so simple and delicious you can make it on a regular afternoon just for you or your housemates, or you can make it to serve at any gathering.
Have you ever heard anyone be sad to see Guacamole? We didn’t think so. Guacamole can be made with the ingredients we have listed below, but you can feel free to throw in a diced red pepper if you have it, or change out the red onion for white or yellow if that’s what you have.

2 Hass Avocados
1/2 a Red Onion, diced
Tomato, diced
Lime
Cilantro
Your favorite hot sauce
Salt
Pepper
Olive Oil
Directions
- Grab your favorite mixing bowl. Peel the avocados and slice them into small squares. This will make them easier to mash. Go ahead and mash them a little, and season with salt and pepper.
- Take your diced red onion and tomato and mix it into the mashed avocados. Season again with your salt and pepper to taste. Add in a dash of the olive oil to make it a little smooth and your squeeze of lime.
- Throw in a few drops of your favorite hot sauce if you like a kick.
- Sprinkle with your fresh cilantro, Serve with your favorite chips.
