Guava Moscow Mule Cocktail

This Guava Moscow Mule Cocktail will be a hit at your next happy hour. It’s sweet and refreshing, and will keep you cool all summer long.

Why try our Guava Moscow Mule Cocktail

A Moscow mule is a cocktail made with vodka, ginger beer and lime juice. The drink is usually served in a copper mug which helps keep it nice and cold. Usually it is found garnished with a slice of lime or a sprig of mint, but it is not necessary.

In this recipe, we wanted to take the traditional Moscow Mule and give it a little dose of our favorite tropical flavors. You will still find the classic ingredients, vodka, ginger beer and lime juice, but we added sweet and fragrant guava nectar and flavored sparkling water for an extra fizz.

Guava is gritty like a pear but slightly sweeter. Here it pairs perfectly with the ginger beer that is used to top off the drink. Usually guava is something sweet found in pastelitos and empanadas, so its nice to use guava in its most pure and freshest form.

Our Tips for This Guava Moscow Mule Cocktail

In this recipe we used Swoon Pink Lemonade, but use the sparkling water that you like such as La Croix Grapefruit.

You can find guava pulp in the freezer section and the nectar or juice can be found in most Latin American specialty stores.

This cocktail can water down quickly. Make it when you are ready to drink.

Always drink responsibly.
