Let’s Make the Perfect Easter Menu

We have the perfect Easter menu for you no matter what your mood or plan is. Take a look at these menu ideas to make Easter easy and yummy.

Easter is a happy occasion right at the beginning of Spring that is full of color and new life. In Christian faith the celebration is meaningful, as it celebrates Jesus rising from the dead. However Easter has become a day for everyone to enjoy family and celebrate the new fresh air upon us and welcome what is to come.

Everyone has their own traditions, and own schedule. We have heard of people celebrating in the morning, at dinner and all day in between. Here is a roundup of our ideal Easter menus depending on when and who you are hosting. Feel free to mix and match different items but there are a few must-haves for Easter: something with eggs, something fresh and definitely a dessert- preferably our Tarta de Santiago for something traditional and delicious.

Easter Breakfast Menu:

This is the ideal menu for Easter morning because everything (yes EVERYTHING) can be prepped the night before. The pancake mix can be assembled the night before and griddled the next morning when you are ready to eat them. The egg white bites and fruit salad can be made completely in advance. The guava marmalade isn’t essential, but it’s something extra special for a special breakfast.

Easter Brunch Menu:

One of the best things about this brunch menu is how simple and varied it is. You can check things off your prep list in the days before Easter for a smooth brunch. This is a great menu if you are cooking just for your family or if you are hosting a larger group. The ham and pan de jamon can be made in advance while dishes like the zoodle salad and deviled eggs can be assembled but not dressed and garnished until the day you will serve anything. We love assembling the French toast casserole the night before so the custard can soak into the bread and then baking it off that morning so the house smells like a sweet bakery all afternoon.

Easter Lunch Menu:

Lunch is the perfect way to host your big family or a large group of friends.  A few appetizers like our cheese dip and zucchini fritters will be the best way to start off and wait for the paella to be ready.  Accompany the paella with our tostones and summer salad or any other vegetable. The Tartara de Santiago’s sweet almond is the perfect finish.

Easter Dinner Menu:

This highlight of this Easter dinner menu are the lamb chops topped with mint chimichurri. The creamy greens and risotto are heavier sides but you can swap one for a salad or greens topped with lemon and olive oil. The donut bread pudding is a decadent dessert or you can stay traditional and make the tartara de Santiago.
